Description: According to Department of Justice Canada, realistic-looking toy guns and replica fire arms comprise of 40% of guns seized by police.  These fake guns are often used to intimidate others and commit robberies.

Currently in Canada no laws address the selling or possession of fake guns.  Toy guns can be purchased without question at many retail stores for less than $2.00.  When these guns are sprayed black it is difficult to tell if they are real or not.  In this video public service announcement  Regent Park TV explores the dangers of fake guns.
